..a piece for the 'single' boys

Well, I don't mean 2 things about the title. First, it is not strictly for the boys only; whosoever is interested, is welcome to read it. Second, it's not that people read this and do exactly what this suggests, it's completely my opinion. And of course I don't mean anything for anyone. Let me know your thoughts, rather.
Its while browsing yesterday I found a quote about dating girls who like reading. It said to date a girl who spends extra money on books rather that dresses or cosmetics.

Well, I leave aside my life before going further; but find a girl who likes to read. You can find out; she'll always have an unread book in her bag. She's the one who spends time looking excitedly over the shelves in a bookstore, the only girl shuffling through pages in a second hand book shop, and the one whose cheeks kinda glow when she finds a book shes' been looking for. Those types can never resist smelling the pages from a new book. The types who seldom get to drink hot tea or coffee, because they often get engrossed in reading.

They are not easily disturbed when reading something. Sit down near them, and the best they do is give a ''Do you mean here?'' glare. Order them a coffee. Ask them what are they reading. Don't pull them out, instead let yourself inside the author's imaginative world, alongwith them(only if you know about the book, otherwise it's a fragile attempt). Understand if she says she likes to be Alice, or she likes to have a healing power, or she would like to bunk grad school at middle of a class and run to her boyfriend.
Give her books during her celebrated moments. Remember the books she likes, and help fill her closet with them. Let her know that whatever she communicates by intricate words and phrases and gestures; you totally understand.

Lie to her if needed. She will understand, because she understands meters, syntax, and figures of speech. She can figure out the motivation, affection, joy, issue hidden in the statement. You never have to be someone other in front of her. They understand that situations as well as people change. You don't have to emphasize.

When you find such a friend who reads, keep her close. Make her a coffee/talk to her slowly, if you found her jaded and watery-eyed, sitting with her latest favorite book in her hands. She might talk as if the characters in the book are real, accept her words. Walk some distance with her. Embrace her. Don't let her go far away from you ever.
If you wanna propose, do so in different abnormal ways. On a hot air balloon. Or inside a state library. Or over skype, talking about the moon or stars; etc. She might not agree completely, but she'll do fine with you. Write her stories and poems, take her to quiet retro-style restaurants or cafeterias, take her to uncrowdy beaches, spend some moments of silence with her.

Make friends with such a girl/date with such a girl who reads; because you need someone like her to make your life colorful in a number of ways unimaginable. If you want a world and the next one beyond it, connect with a girl who reads. Or better, who writes.
