Kiss

This is one try at a sensuous note. Hope it pleases you all, and reminds you of soothing moments in your life.

"Kiss"

Her breath lingered of moon dust and restrained voices. His echoed of years of earth, wait and turmoil.
They both felt like flame, the kind that set houses and forests on fire.

Their lips moved on a dance of passion and desire. As their silent lips serenaded each other in a mixed brew of self-restraint and uncaged feelings, they only thought of their pasts, and not of whose mouth connected to their own.

He heard his ex's cold gestures, like torture drilling into his heart. Personable promises rolled out off her sugar lips but the undertones carried unconditional silence and sourness. So, he continued drowning his fears and desires in the addicting drink of her lips.

She saw her flesh heat, and sharp questions digging themselves into the web of her mind. Years of deceit, should or should not - they fought but finally her heart paved way. Their supple lips whispered sensuous notions, filling her dreams with hopes and a happy future.

No matter how distracting it was, no matter how hard the world would carve back into their lives, a strong faith, unbroken and unhinged, sprung up somewhere, as their lips were creating a legend never told before.

They both drank from each other's lips, clogging out their pasts, yet ignoring the world and its wheels. They were happy, staring into each other's clouded kaleidoscopic eyes, not noticing the vibrant dawn that had happened. Except, the mesmerizing grasps of their eyes was transitory, now lost in dilated forests of an unknown future. But they were ready to take the plunge.

They were not only infatuated with the feeling the other's lips against theirs instilled. They realized they didn't just love each other. They lived each other. Through the stares. Through the electricity in their veins. Through the desires. And through the promises. And through the million forthcoming kisses. That had started a fire, which could never be droused again.

Bonded by the kiss, two souls had become one.

  1. If there is this much heat, passion ought to be there. Without it, even physical aspect has no longevity. Beautiful and vivid narration, Pratik.
